About IFS

International Food Systems, LLC was founded in 1985 by Dr. James C. Curry. 

Dr. James C. Curry has a BS in Horticulture, MS and PhD in Food Science. Dr. Curry has 50 years of experience in the food industry; Carnation R & D in Van Nuys, Ca., Stauffer Chemical Company in Los Angeles, Ca. (Technical Service), and as an independent consultant.

The modern 40,000 square foot facility is located on Interstate 35 in New Braunfels, Texas.  This facility has capabilities of providing wet and dry manufacturing.  Our state-of-the-art product development laboratory is capable of research & product development and assistance in all areas of food production.

IFS is ultimately committed to supply safe food.  Our company has established, continues to implement, maintain, and monitor a Food Safety Management System that complies with the global SQF Food Safety Elements for Food Manufacturing.  We strive to build customer trust and confidence by providing safe, quality custom blends.  Our food safety management system and objectives within the system is managed throughout the site through daily monitoring, monthly internal audits and training's, and multiple annual reviews by different entities.  Full compliance and continual improvement to all customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements for our food products, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our employees is what we do.  The mission of International Food Systems is to manufacture the finest quality ingredients and to provide personal technical support to each one of our customers. We provide individualized attention and customized products for the specific needs of our customers, their customers, and their customers' customers.
